The lodge has been crafted by hand with a huge amount of love. The owners sourced the majority of materials second hand to used in construction, loading up 40ft containers and shipping them to Wanaka for the build. The floor boards, long beams and support trusses have a beautiful lived in feel, they have seen the passage of time worn on to them, adding an extra layer to the character of this home away from home.
With a ceda hot tub on the sprawling front lawn, big decisions about tomorrows activities are easily pondered. Through the gate at the end of the lawn and your on river tracks that cover the Upper Clutha Basin for mountain bikers, walkers and a runners paradise. Wanaka township is five minutes down the road, however when your seated at the stunning up-cycled timber dinning table over looking the inspiring view you are a world away from everywhere.
The magic of this lodge is the intimate surrounds it offers couples and their near and dear to call it home and create a special moment that is etched with love due to the space. Accommodation for ten in five double rooms, separate lounges and dinning area gives a feeling of space while being held in the heart of building. Small weddings with a guests list of 30 work well at this hidden treat.
